Battail Union Health Program

Program Name: Extended Immunization Program

 

ঃ Implementer of the program: Upazila Health and WP Officer and all health workers under it.

 

·Funding and other contributors: Ministry of Health and Health, World Health Organization.

 

-Gargets and Methods: Prevention of 06 diseases in children and prevention of night blindness and malnutrition through vitamin A capsules. Prevention of tetanus in mothers and newborns through the KTT vaccine. Mothers and newborns can make up for vitamin A deficiency by feeding vitamin A capsules to mothers. The main goal is to reduce child suffering and mortality.

CoveredBeneficiary population: All women aged 15-49 years and all children aged 0-60 months.
